Shortcuts: COM:AN/B • COM:AN/P • COM:RFPP

This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reports@wikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergency@wikimedia.org.

Report users for clear cases of vandalism. Block requests for any other reason should be reported to the blocks and protections noticeboard.

Reports that do not suit the vandalism noticeboard may be reported here. Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.


Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

The user again uploaded non free image of Podgorny File:N.V.Podgorny.jpg despite it was deleted before File:Portrait of Nikolai Podgorny.webp. Moreover it seems that this user created a new page User:Maxedr234 where he continues to upload non free image of V. Kuznetsov File:Diplomat V. Kuznetsov.jpg. Please block both accounts. @RZuo: It overwrote File:La Bombonera - 2012 (6815492354).jpg at 22:49, 25 February 2024, less than three hours before my report. User:Lebowski97

User has repeatedly uploaded copyrighted agency photographs of a now-retired footballer despite requests to stop. They claim to represent the player and have left a comment saying, "We manage every marketing asset and photograph Georgi Kinkladze owns! This photo is Georgi's and we provided it to Manchester City for sharing. We are partners with Manchester City and we have the rights to everything with Georgi Kinkladze's name," which appears to be demonstrably untrue, as they're mostly, if not all, photographs that are owned and managed by news photo agencies and often marked "editorial use only." Looking at the user's edit history on en-wiki, their main gripe seems to be that they don't like the current article photo.

However, they keep inserting photographs that they clearly do not own the rights to and I don't see any evidence that they actually represent the player (surely they could provide a current photo or an older photo from the player's personal archives?), so I don't see them stopping this behavior unless they're blocked. Hello, I am requesting that “File:Emblem of Afghanistan (1974-1978).svg” is unprotected and reverted back to the original version as me and Fry1989 have come to a compromise and have agreed that both aspects of each rendition of the emblem can be combined to make a far more accurate version. I have already created the new rendition for the emblem, and the edit warring has ceased thanks to Fry1989’s idea and my persistence in reverting the emblem.

Firstly, here are proofs that the current rendition of the emblem is inaccurate (if you do need to know):

1. The YouTube “Sardar Mohammed Dawood khan 1974” by Pamir Studio Tv, mark 10:55, depicts the emblem physically near the clock tower of the Arg Presidential Palace in Afghanistan. Regardless, a compromise has been made and you can see it at Fry1989’s talk page where he suggests altering the beak but keeping other elements of the emblem the same.

However, I proceeded to make a YouTube in which I compare both renditions of the eagle to an actual eagle in three different Afghan government books, where I politely explained the inaccuracies. However, one thing that is good about the new rendition of the emblem is that the text is more accurate, therefore I created a version which combines the eagle from the old rendition and the text from the new rendition. That way, both opposers and those who are in favour of keeping the emblem the way it is are both appeased.

I am not sure both of you reached a compromise. The last Fry1989 comment reads "Turtle-bienhoa's version is vastly superior and needs to be used".
