Each day, you’ll engage individually, in pairs, and in small teams to facilitate proficiency of learned concepts.
With the completion of each unit, you’ll engage in a case study analyzing a real-world data set.
During the last two weeks of the course, you’ll complete and present a capstone project. You’ll build projects that focus on solving real-world DoD challenges.
Learning Objectives
Participants learn Python and statistical methods while working with authentic data sets to become drivers of data-informed decisions.

Our mandatory pre-work will teach you more about coding so you’re prepared for the pre-assessment. Pre-work is neither graded nor monitored.
You’ll have two chances to take the test. If you score 50% or higher, you’ll qualify for selection consideration. If you do not score higher than 50%, we’ll highlight where you have room for improvement before you retake the assessment.
Our coding training programs for military personnel are available through an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract awarded by the U.S. DoD (GSA SBIR Phase III IDIQ 47QFLA21D0013).
If you’d like to add a Task Order to our IDIQ Contract, explore our federal funding process below. If you’d like to purchase a course seat using a Government Purchase Card (GPC) for direct enrollment, please email federal@galvanize.com.
Only current Department of Defense (DoD) military and government civilians may apply to this program. If this doesn’t include you, please check out our Hack Reactor Coding Bootcamps to explore civilian software development training options.
